Two JDF Certified Experts on the Avanti Team!
TORONTO, June 4, 2008 – Avanti Computer Systems, a leading provider of Print MIS solutions to the graphic arts industry, is pleased to announce that two of its team members, Andrew Mollicone and Josh Perkins, have recently earned certification as JDF Experts.
The “JDF Expert Certificate” initiative is a challenging program offered by CIP4 and the IPA, specifically designed for those persons leading their company's efforts to implement JDF-based automated processes and CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing).
“With less than 40 certified JDF experts in the world, we are very pleased to see two people on the Avanti team achieve this certification. Avanti has been a strong supporter of JDF and CIP4 for several years and Andrew’s and Josh’s accomplishment are a testament to the bench strength in JDF that our customers have come to count on”, says Patrick Bolan, Avanti’s President & CEO.
Andrew Mollicone is a member of Avanti’s Client Services team, interacting daily with key clients with an emphasis on those implementing JDF projects. Mr. Mollicone is a graduate of the Graphic Communications Management program at Ryerson University and joined Avanti in 2007.
Josh Perkins is a member of Avanti’s Product Management team and has championed several JDF integration projects involving such vendors as Xerox, Kodak, Heidelberg, Adobe, AGFA and HP, to name a few. Mr. Perkins is also a graduate of the Graphic Communications Management program at Ryerson University and joined Avanti in 2004.
